Background:
Risk analysis of projects has acquired importance in the context of multiple random variables and uncertain future scenarios. Basic Project models have to be stress tested for varying assumptions and scenarios before coming to any conclusion about their financial viability. Through simulation, the distribution of results can be generated and used for risk quantification. Besides this, the management can better understand the sensitive factors on which the results depend and take extra care to manage them.
Objectives: This two day workshop will enhance the skill sets of participants through hands-on learning of Monte Carlo methods in project viability analysis with specific focus on financial modeling and real life case studies.
